Begin building your website here:

You may want to jump into website page design, but start creating your own website by specifically defining what you are selling or what services you provide. Generalities won't do! This is how you begin to determine what belongs in your website; what you will be selling on the web:

Make a specific numbered list! If you are selling multiple items on the Internet such as fruit and vegetables, breakdown general categories into specifics as under fruit: strawberries, apples, oranges. If you only sell apples, breakdown the list by Macintosh, Delicious, etc. The same is true of services and travel properties. After the first rough draft, re-sort your list in the order of importance to you for selling. If you already have a website start with this and compare it to the content on your website. Offer a simplified version of this summary on your home page with links!

Use your list -which is your website outline - as the basis to determine your keywords.

Use your outline list as the base to determine your web pages -and our web page content - one specific item per page or one specific service per page.You will learn more at tip #8.

If you truly only have one specific product or 1 specific service, go to key #2, but think it over - subdivision of one service or product may seem to you as only one thing, but your web visitor may view it differently.
