Group Dining (Congregate Dining)
The Senior Nutrition Program of the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services provides lunch for anyone 60 years of age and older.
Meals are available at various locations, including senior centers, community centers, schools and churches. All dining sites are ADA compliant. Nutrition screening and counseling are available as part of the program.
Lunch is served at noon, Monday through Friday. Reservations are required, usually one day in advance. To make a reservation, you need to contact the individual dining site.
Besides regular American fare, there are specialty meals available at selected sites. Kosher meals are offered at three sites. Vietnamese meals are offered at one location. A Chinese menu is served at two sites. Korean meals are available at two locations.
Anyone 60 years of age and older is eligible. Spouses are welcome, and there is no age requirement for spouses. Donations are encouraged, but not required.
