Virginia Long Term Care Insurance Providers

This is a listing of companies that have had one or more individual long-term care policy forms approved for sale in Virginia on or after January 1, 1992, according to the Virginia State Corporation Commission. The fact that a company has one or more approved forms does not necessarily mean the company is actively selling these products in Virginia. There may be other companies that offer long-term care insurance in this state.

When a company issues federally qualified long-term care policies we have tried to note it in their listing. Since companies change names, discontinue offering certain policies, merge with other companies, and go through other changes, do not use this data as a complete listing of every Long Term Care Insurance carrier in Virginia. Service, coverage, and prices will vary between different carriers, so be sure to check with the individual company. Nothing on this web page should be construed as the giving of advice or the making of a recommendation. Please refer to the disclaimer notice at the bottom of this page. This list is given to you for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement in any way.

We have endeavored to include a link to each company's Long Term Care Insurance pages whenever possible. If their is one, we try to link to the webpage specifically for Virginia Long Term Care insurance. You should note that some companies do not have a website (or Long Term Care Insurance pages) that our editors could easily find using the Internet's largest search engines; or had a website, but did list Long Term Care as one of their insurance products.

Companies with approved Virginia individual long-term care partnership policies are highlighted with a blue background. Long-term care partnership policies may be issued in Virginia on and after September 1, 2007.
