PACE Transportation & Rides

I need a ride to get to my Pace Center. And sometimes, to appointments.

Most likely, your PACE Care Center will provide transportation to and from the center for activities or medical appointments, if medically necessary.

(Medicare includes transportation in its list of PACE services at What does PACE cover?)

In many cases, the transportation vehicles will be equipped for riders in wheelchairs, if that's necessary.

You may also be able to get transportation to some medical appointments, like a dentist or optometrist, in the community. Some PACE centers even include rides for important errands.

The full scope of transportation services available to a PACE user might vary in different centers, so be sure to ask a qualified coordinator at your center for the details of what is available.
